Katherine Bush MPT

Myofascial Therapy & Wellness is owned and operated by Katherine Bush, who is the treating therapist and an expert myofascial release practitioner.

Katherine graduated with honors from the University of Evansville in 1994 with a Master of Physical Therapy degree.  Katherine has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, transitional care, outpatient neurological, outpatient women's health and outpatient orthopedic.  She also has had advanced training in women's health conditions, vestibular rehabilitation, myofascial release, modified pilates for rehabilitation, lymphedema management and osteoporosis management.

Katherine began her training in myofascial release in 2001 as she felt there was a "missing link" in some of her patients' treatment plans.  She immediately experienced the beneficial effects on herself and then began seeing the benefits in her patients as she applied these principles and techniques to them.  She continued to attend further training over the years as her passion for myofascial release continued to grow, to further develop skills and to treat a wider population. She continues to attend specialized training and seminars to enhance her skills and gain further knowledge to treat her patients with individualized and total body approaches.

Katherine is trained in the John F. Barnes Myofascial Treatment Approach and has attended the following seminars:   Myofascial Release I, Myofascial Release II, Cervical-thoracic, Fascial-Pelvis, Myofascial Unwinding,  Myofascial Rebounding, Women's Health, Advanced Myofascial Unwinding, Quantum Leap, Subtle Energy, Myofascial Release III  and also a one week Skill Enhancement Seminar with John F. Barnes, PT,  in Malvern, PA.
